Creative Ways to Use Office Labels Outside Your Office

Jan 16, 2015

Have you ever repurposed something ordinary into something completely new? When you take a moment to think of new uses for old things, you begin to think creatively and come up with ideas like turning used tin cans into new office accessories. I recently discovered I had an abundance of office labels and stickers and began coming up with different ways to use them.

Creative ways to use office labels

Here are few ways I used ordinary labels in new and creative ways:

1.    As gift wrap. Print a phrase or design onto shipping labels to reinvent them into fun wrapping paper accessories. You can skip the printed wrapping paper and dress up plain boxes or craft paper with your own custom designs.

2.    As jar labels. Canning or simply storing things in mason jars? Use round labels to keep track of the ingredients that are inside. They also make great packaging if you are giving someone a gift in a mason jar.

3.    Leftover boxes. Having guests over who will be taking home a doggie bag? Or, delivering food to a friend or neighbor? Use labels to add a personalization to your to-go box or container.

4.    Holiday gear. Use labels to organize holiday supplies such as gifting supplies, various holiday cards and decorations. This will help keep you and your loved ones organized and help you maintain a clean household. Also, no more questions such as, “Do you know where we keep those.”

In what other creative ways would you use office labels outside of your office?
