Watermelon Smoothie

Summer might be winding down but it seems that watermelons are still filling markets and farm stands everywhere I look. I’ve been looking for new ways to enjoy watermelon and this smoothie recipe is something I came up with one afternoon while looking for a healthy snack. It’s perfect because I like to purchase a large watermelon and then cut it into cubes for easy snacking. I store the cubed watermelon in a Ziploc® Brand Container with One Press Seal in the refrigerator so that it’s easy to grab. When I was ready to make this smoothie, I just pulled out the watermelon from the refrigerator and added it to the blender. So easy!
