If you’re looking for a healthy love potion for your valentine, try this pomegranate-berry smoothie with six simple ingredients. This juice is a breeze to make and is ready to drink in a matter of minutes. With pomegranate juice, beets, blueberries, strawberries and chia seeds, this juice not only looks and tastes great, but is also packed with antioxidants. Look for roasted beets on the salad bar in gourmet grocery stores or substitute 1/3 cup of raspberries.

Healthy Love Potion: Pomegranate-Berry Smoothie 

Pomegranate-Berry Smoothie

Prep: 10 minutes
Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

1/4 cup pomegranate juice
1/3 cup chopped, cooked fresh beets
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 cup fresh sliced strawberries
Ice
Toppings: chia seeds, berries

Directions

In blender combine pomegranate juice, beets, blueberries, strawberries and ice. Secure lid and blend (from low to high if using a variable speed blender) until smooth. Serve immediately with toppings such as chia seeds and berries.
