Buffalo Cauliflower

Cauliflower is one of the hottest food trends, and if you like Buffalo wings (who doesn’t) this Buffalo cauliflower makes a great appetizer or starter. This recipe is super easy to prepare, and cleanup is a breeze. Place the cauliflower in a large Ziploc® Brand Bag along with the flour mixture, shake well to combine, and place on a baking sheet. After baking in the oven, the cauliflower will become crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with the perfect amount of spice. Serve with blue cheese or ranch dressing with celery on the side.

Prep: 15 minutes
Cook: 40 minutes
Yield: 4 servings

Kosher salt
8 cups cauliflower florets (about 1 medium head)
1/2 cup whole wheat white flour
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup hot sauce
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil

Preheat oven to 450° F.

Combine flour and water in a large Ziploc® Brand Bag and shake until smooth. Add cauliflower and continue shaking until well coated.

Place on a large, lightly greased baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until browned, tossing occasionally.

In a small bowl combine hot sauce, lemon juice and olive oil. Coat cauliflower with the mixture and place back on baking sheet. Roast 15 to 20 more minutes or until browned.

Serve with blue cheese, ranch and celery, if desired.
