SC Johnson Frequently Asked Questions

What is biofuel or biomass?

A biofuel is any fuel that comes from living or once-living organisms, such as plants, corn or soy beans. Biomass is the biological material that is used as fuel. We’re using biomass – in the form of palm shells that would have gone into the waste stream – to fuel our factory in Medan, Indonesia.
