I found a fun alphabet in one of my vintage clip art books to share with you. I really like the twisted and intertwined detail of each letter. Below are two examples from my personal collection, one in black and one in red. Click on the link for the PDF file of the alphabet in black and also in red.

Here are some fun ideas for using large and ornate alphabets:

•    Print and frame for instant décor

•    Trim out rows of letters, wrap and secure each around straight-side glass vases

•    Trace individual letters onto fabric and embroider

•    Print letters of your choice onto iron-on transfer sheets and embellish a tote bag or T-shirt

•    Print and trim out initials as monograms to add to gift tags, notebooks or boxes

•    Print to ink-jet printable magnetic sheets, trim out individual letters and make unique refrigerator alphabet magnets

•    Use alphabet image as your computer’s wallpaper background

•    Print your own initial(s) to blank greeting card stock to create custom stationary

•    Enlarge one and use as a template for appliquéing a throw pillow

•    Print or copy individual letters with space around them, trim into pennants or circles; connect all with string to create a fun name garland.

I printed the red set to cardstock, trimmed out my own initials with scissors and ran the letters through my Xyron Create-A-Sticker. With the sticker backing paper still attached, I covered the letters with a liquid dimensional glaze. Once dry I adhered my dimensional stickers to a vintage tea tin for storing supplies.
