Ziploc Brand Container Round Label Printables and Ideas | Family Economics

Cathe Holden

If you make homemade gifts for the holidays that need packaging, consider red or blue lid Ziploc® Brand Twist ’n Loc® Containers for sharing your goodies. The small ones hold up to 16 ounces, or two cups of ingredients (or items) and are leak resistant.

Whether you’re making liquid or dry food treats, bath and beauty products, sharing baking ingredients or supplies from your craft room stash, these containers become a wonderful part of the gift. To make them even more special, I’ve designed a set of six decorative holiday labels for adding to the lids. Each label is 3.5” round with a cut line.

Click on the links to download and print the label designs to paper, cardstock, or full sheet label stock material. If printing to paper or cardstock and would like to utilize the backside for writing ingredients, instructions, or sentiments, download the ruled file to print to the back of the label sheets.

Once a label design sheet is printed, trim out each 3.5” circle along its cut line with scissors or a craft knife and cutting mat. Write or rubber-stamp your custom message in the center of the decorative frames.

I used four containers to create a holiday cookie ingredients gift set that when made will create five dozen cookies, which is much more than the traditional mason jar cookie gift. Once you’ve created the containers of dry ingredients, share a list of remaining fresh and liquid items needed, and write directions for preparing and baking. On one lid label I wrote a sentiment, on another I wrote the title of the recipe, on another I wrote the list for additional ingredients such as butter and eggs, and on the last label I wrote the message, “Cookie Instructions on Back” with handwritten mixing and baking information along the ruled lines.

If stacking and tying the containers, there’s no need to adhere the labels. If gifting containers individually or in a gift bag, only a small bit of adhesive or rolled piece of transparent tape is necessary to keep the labels in place.

  • Labels also fit nicely on the lids of the extra small 8 ounce Ziploc® brand Containers with the Smart Snap® Seal.
  • Use a 3.5” round paper punch from the craft store to cut out label designs and make light work of multiple printed sheets.
  • Print label files to label stock to make gift box or envelope labels, or festive guest name tags.
  • Print label files to cardstock, trim out each, fold in half and use as place cards displayed tent style or with one half flat on the table surface.
  • Share label files with a teacher for classroom photo ornament craft projects.
  • Use trimmed labels as hangtags by punching a hole in the decoration border of a label printed to cardstock and string with bakers twine or ribbon.
