21 Fun Uses for Printable Office Labels and Graphic Images | Family Economics

By Cathe

The Internet is full of free digital downloadable images to use for office labels and more! A simple search for free clip art, free vintage images, and free printable images will yield many exciting results. Purchase basic office supply labels and you’ve got yourself a craft that keeps on giving.

Here are some of my favorite uses for basic printable labels:

1.    Scrapbook embellishments

2.    Calling cards with pre-printed information labels

3.    Fold in half and adhere as tabs for notebooks, ledgers and planners

4.    Rubberstamp with colorful graphics to create fun stickers

5.    Print with sections of vintage graphics to use as gift wrap tape on plain paper packages

6.    In-a-pinch lint removers (use with caution on some fabrics)

7.    Keep a sheet folded in your car as impromptu tape

8.    Print or stamp label with fun graphics, letters, or words and fold each over string to create an easy pennant bunting

9.    Food and gift labeling

10.    Lunch bag labeling

11.    Fridge food labeling

12.    Label large masses of electronic cords behind your desk and the equipment they plug into.

13.    Custom designed return address labels

14.    Print silly names and add to party drink cups –guests have fun with their new designated names

15.    Label the bottom of family antiques with the history of the item and dates noted

16.    Label candy or lollipop sticks with fun messages for Valentine or Halloween treats

17.    Stick a joke or fun message to food in your child’s lunch box (the peel of the banana, the stem of a grape cluster, the lid of their yogurt)

18.    Label vintage bottles into apothecary-style decorative accessories with free printables

19.    Use small shape punches to create fun smaller labels from larger sheets

20.    For festive cupcake flags, print stripes, words or graphics onto narrow, long labels then peel backing and fold in half over toothpicks, then notch a triangle out of the ends

21.    Colorful box or envelope seal
