Raspberry and Chocolate Turnovers

Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: 20-25 minutes
Yield: 6 servings

1 package puff pastry sheets
1 cup raspberry preserves
1 cup chocolate chips
3 tablespoons butter, melted

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

making the turnovers

Using a pizza cutter, portion the puff pastry sheet into six rectangles to make two turnovers. Add three tablespoons of preserves in the center of the three rectangles. On top of the preserves add two tablespoons of chocolate chips. Place another pastry rectangle on top and seal them together using the back of a fork. Brush each turnover with melted butter and cut 2-3 slits in the tops of the pastry so they can vent while cooking.

Place on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper and bake in oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
