Innovative program provides “win-win” for employers and prospective employees

RACINE, Wis., March 16, 2016 – Today, SC Johnson congratulates Gateway Technical College for receiving the first “Innovative Best Practices” award from the American Technical Education Association.

The award was given to honor Gateway’s Boot Camp training program that provides intensive 14-20 week training in a variety of skills designed to meet the needs of local employers and changing industry trends.  Past training sessions have included computer numerical control (CNC), logistics, telecommunications, and others.

“We are impressed with the great work Gateway Technical College is doing to prepare graduates to join the local workforce,” said Kelly M.
