SC Johnson Gives to Help Others Stand Up and Conquer the World

Pink and blue Kiwi® shoelaces to help raise awareness

RACINE, Wis., May 3, 2016 – Today, SC Johnson announced the donation of Kiwi® shoelaces to Clubfoot Solutions to help raise awareness for its fundraising campaign.

The company will donate 1,000 brightly colored pink and blue Kiwi® shoelaces to help the Laces for Braces campaign. The campaign is intended to raise awareness of the birth defect and treatment for the condition.

“We are thrilled to be able to help raise awareness for this cause,” said Kelly M. Semrau, Senior Vice President—Global Corporate Affairs, Communication and Sustainability. “Our Kiwi® brand calls for all of us to stand and conquer the challenges we face in this world.”

Clubfoot occurs when an infant’s foot is turned inward at birth, often so severely that the bottom of the foot faces sideways or upward. Approximately one in every 1,000 live births will have clubfoot. Pink and blue are the clubfoot awareness colors.
