RACINE, Wis., Aug. 3, 2017 – SC Johnson recently announced the donation of $100,000 to the American Red Cross. The donation was announced during a press conference with Gov. Scott Walker as he shared the ongoing struggles facing Wisconsinites while recovering from the severe storms earlier last month that caused significant flooding in many communities.
Recently, SC Johnson provided more than 7,000 units of OFF! Deep Woods® insect repellent and Scrubbing Bubbles® Bleach 5-in-1 All Purpose Cleaner with fantastik® to assist with cleanup efforts throughout the state. These products helped residents manage the increasing mosquito population that resulted from the standing water, as well as clean up their homes and businesses. Today’s donation will be used by the Red Cross as they continue to help communities recover from the disaster.

To date, the American Red Cross has provided more than 5,500 people with essential cleanup items in response to the recent flooding. The organization has also opened 10 shelters throughout the state and served more than 3,000 meals and snacks to individuals and families.
