Glade® Shake and Vac has a wide margin of safety, but it is important to follow label directions as only then can the product be used with confidence.

If you are using the product to hide cat odor, you should vacuum before the cat walks over the treated carpeting.

If used according to the label directions, eye irritation under the circumstances described is not expected unless there is actual direct contact with the product.
