how to use pledge klear polish as the only place i could get it was my local 99p shop but it is in polish so i don't know how to use it. please help - Dawn from UK

Hello Dawn from the UK – Thank you for contacting us about how to use Klear/Pledge® Multi Surface Wax. We checked with our consumer hotline in the U.K. and here’s what they suggested:

Before using the product, test in an inconspicuous area to make sure you are getting the results you desire.

When using Klear/Pledge® Multi Surface Wax, remember that:

• When the product is applied at  a room temperature above 18˚ degrees Celsius, it can cause patchiness;
• Any heating (floor heating included) needs to be turned off 2 days in advance of application;
• Sunlight can cause certain areas of the floor to warm up; make certain floor is cold. How to apply? To avoid streaks and patchiness, use an applicator or a cloth and apply with a uniform amount of pressure as you spread a thin layer of the product evenly over the surface. If using on a wood surface, make sure that you spread in the direction of the grain. Then, allow it to dry for about 20 minutes.

If your floor doesn’t have the brilliant shine you desire once it’s dry, you probably have some remaining residue on the floor from your cleaning product or a build up from many layers of wax. If that’s the case, you will want to remove with a solution of ammonia and cold water.
