Questions about SC Johnson Products

From Don, about Raid Max Bug Barrier

"I bought Raid max bug barrier with auto trigger - it says to squeeze trigger until surface is slightly moist -- when I squeeze it I get a drenching stream - it doesn't say how to adjust for a mist or whatever and it's not obvious unless I have to remove something ?? What am I missing here ?? – Don from Ohio"

Thanks for the question, Don. Raid® MAX Bug Barrier is designed to dispense as a stream and not a mist, for faster, consistent and more complete coverage. While the trigger can’t be turned, it should be applied in a steady stream and not a drenching pour.

Try holding the product at least 12 inches away from the surface you are spraying. This will help the stream to come out in a steady fashion and spray more evenly and help with the drenching issue.

Another thing you can try is only squeezing the trigger until the surface is slightly moist, you should be able to avoid drenching or spraying to the point of runoff. Moving along the surface at a natural pace may also help.
