Does this mean you have to be completely still (like a statue) for the product to work? No, but the product needs to be in the same general position for it to work (like while you read a book outside or gardening).

In order for it to work, place the unit next to you on a table, bench or other suitable hard surface (away from food and sources of heat, ignition, or moisture).
