From No Ants for Me about Treating Kitchen Cabinets with Pesticides

I removed dishes from my kitchen cabinets and sprayed Raid Ant and Roach spray. Do I need to wash out the cabinets again before putting dishes back in? - No Ants for Me

Hi No Ants for Me – Thanks for stopping by our site. We’re happy to answer your question. In accordance with the EPA’s Citizen’s Guide to Pest Control and Pesticide Safety Booklet, we recommend removing food, pots and pans, and dishes before treating kitchen cabinets with pesticides. Don’t let pesticides get on any surfaces that are use for food preparation.

Wait until shelves dry before refilling them. Wash any surfaces that may have pesticide residues before placing food on them. Otherwise, no need to wash before putting dishes, pots and pans back.

Hope this helps!
