My Daughter was on her way to her first boy/ girl party. She wanted a new outfit for the party so I bought her a new dress for the party. It was a pink dress that had white on top and her brand new white ribbed socks. She looked beautiful, I couldn't help to take some pictures. She didn't hesitate to even give a few poses for me. I drop her off and she heads on in. Well when i picked her up from the party, I Had my camera ready to take a few more pictures hoping shell still have the same smile she left with. Instead her face was in tears. I take a picture accidentally and I look down at her dress and see a big greasy stain which to me looked liked some sort of sauce, on the front of it. I ask her what happened and she tells me she was holding a plate of pizza when the boy she has a crush plays a mean joke and purposely bumps her causing her to lose control of her plate and spilled the pizza covered in sauce right on her new dress. She tells me everyone laughed and pointed at the stain. Then she tells me "I ran in the kitchen and grabbed some napkins and started to rub the sauce off my dress". I quickly had an image in my head of her rubbing the stain even deeper in her dress. But for some reason, Her Brand new dress was more important to her that than the boy who she had a crush on, Spilling pizza all over my daughters new dress. Don't worry I said . I think i can get that stain out. On the way home my Daughter was sobbing about her dress. She kept looking at her dress And saying "oh mommy my dress, my dress". I had to admit, her dress looked ruined. It takes me back when my Daughter and I first saw the dress. I can remember her loving the dress instantly and I admit I was proud to buy it for her. She said to me "Mom this is my favorite dress". Her saying that then and looking at her dress now. I was just as upset as she was. Then the unthinkable happened. Just When I thought her nightmares were over, I accidentally accelerate the car causing a cup full of melted double fudge chocolate shake slide from the dash and spills all over my Daughters and her dress dress. My youngest son had left it there earlier and I forgot to throw it away. Anyway The was chocolate everywhere. My Daughter screams "My Dress"! I was in shock. I quickly stop and it causes more chocolate to splashes on her dress. "Oh sweetie, i'm so sorry" I said. She began to cry and I quickly drove us home. We walked in and we went straight to the laundry room. She changed out of her dress And I immediately sprayed Shout Triple Action, hoping that that stains will come out. Meanwhile my Daughter is in her room still upset about what happened. " Oh honey accidents happen" I said. The dress was in the wash and I prayed for it to come out clean. When the washer stopped, my Daughter ran to see her dress. The only thing I saw was her smiling face as she says "The stains are gone!"
