"I facilitate the Energy Use Committee at SC Johnson's Waxdale facility in the United States. We evaluate key areas like compressed air, hot water, electricity and others. We look for ways to seal leaks on doors, automatically shut down lights and machines when not in use, and other aspects of the day-to-day running of our business.

One of the Energy Use Committee's recent energy-saving projects was replacing 750 light fixtures throughout Waxdale. The annual energy savings was $50,000.
