At our operation in Argentina, fossil fuel use is down by 54% and greenhouse gas emissions are down 67% since 2000.

Climate change affects all of us — from diminishing our ecosystems to affecting our weather.

At SC Johnson, we're working to reduce our impact on the environment and its climate, by producing Scrubbing Bubbles^® cleaners, Shout^® stain removers and the other SC Johnson products you trust with minimal greenhouse gas emissions and fossil fuel use.

One key way we're doing this is through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Climate Leaders initiative.

SC Johnson was a charter member of Climate Leaders and the first consumer products manufacturer to take part in the program.

By the end of 2005, we had already surpassed our first set of goals, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 24 percent and doubling our commitment of an 8 percent absolute reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and instead cutting them by 17 percent.

We were one of only four companies and one government organization to reach our initial Climate Leaders goal.
