This information is available for U.S. businesses
and workers to gain necessary knowledge about how our products
should be handled and stored in the workplace. Created as a business
tool, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) contain details required
when our products are used at greater frequency, duration, or
concentration levels than when the consumer products are used
in the home.
The MSDS provide information about products' physical
data such as melting point, boiling point and appearance, as well
as safety information, health effects, and first aid. The sheets
describe how products should be stored and disposed of, spill
cleanup procedures, and any other necessary precautions. Each
sheet also lists a phone number for emergency assistance.
If you are a consumer viewing this MSDS information,
please keep in mind that the data is prepared according to standards
established by the U.S. Government's Occupational Safety and Health
Administration (OSHA). MSDS are provided as a service for our
business customers.
Although consumers might not benefit from MSDS
information for products used in the home, it is good to know
that SC Johnson thoroughly evaluates the safety aspects of all
of our products before they are available to consumers for home
use; we recommend consumers follow product label instructions
to ensure safe use.
If you have any questions concerning MSDS information
or require further assistance with the MSDS, please contact us
at msds@scj.com.
