SC Johnson Announces Winners of Nationwide Sustainability Sweepstakes

25 Winners to Receive Gift Items that Promote Family Time and Feature Sustainable Consumer Goods

SC Johnson announces 25 winners of sweepstakes to commemorate the company’s 25th Annual Sustainability Report. 
Sweepstakes participants learned about SC Johnson’s sustainability and social efforts, and how to live sustainably.

RACINE, Wis., (April 5, 2017) SC Johnson, maker of trusted consumer brands like Glade®, Raid®, Scrubbing Bubbles® and Ziploc®, is proud to announce 25 winners from its first nationwide sweepstakes to commemorate the company’s 25th Annual Sustainability Report. 

The sweepstakes was created to educate consumers about SC Johnson’s products and the company’s sustainability and social efforts.  Participants were able to engage via interactive trivia and also received practical tips on how they can make a difference in protecting the environment. 

“We are energized by the response and consumer interest in the sweepstakes,” said Kelly Semrau, Senior Vice President Global Corporate Affairs, Communication and Sustainability. “We value the opportunity to inform consumers about SC Johnson, our commitment to sustainability and to making lives better for families around the world.” 

Each of the 25 winners will receive a gift collection which promotes spending time with family and features sustainable consumer goods, valued over $380 dollars for the package.   Items included a solar charger backpack equipped to charge electronics, a $50 AMC gift card, a $250 Mastercard® gift card, as well as Glade® Fresh Citrus Blossoms, the first air care collection to disclose 100 percent of fragrance ingredients down to the basic component level, and a starter kit of SC Johnson concentrated cleaners including Pledge®, Scrubbing Bubbles®, Shout®, fantastik® and Windex®, which offer an easy way for consumers to make the sustainable choice of refilling. 

Twenty-five entrants from across the United States were selected from nearly 12,000 entries. The sweepstakes was open to residents, age18 years and older, and ran for one month concluding on February 18, 2017. Participants who entered the site learned about SC Johnson’s sustainability and social efforts and received information on how to live sustainably in their communities. Upon completion of the trivia, participants could opt to fill out an entry form online. Winners were selected based on a random drawing among eligible entries.
