This SC Johnson plant, which normally manufactures shoe care products, recently switched to making protective masks for SC Johnson. Using a manufacturing line previously dedicated to producing insoles, team members adapted a similar sewing process and quickly began mask production. The plant is currently producing 3,000 masks per day.
SC Johnson, through its SC Johnson Professional and Deb brands, is one of the largest hand sanitizer makers in the world. Team members have volunteered to help out on the lines at both its Dispensing and Healthcare sites, which has allowed them to increase its production of hand soaps and sanitizers.
Despite being in one of the areas hit hardest early on by the virus, the China team quickly rallied together to construct a new manufacturing line in just six days that significantly increased the manufacturing capacity of Mr. Muscle® disinfectant products.
The team at this Europlant ramped up a new line by filling unused OFF!® bottles with hand sanitizer for use by SC Johnson team members working on the front lines in The Netherlands and Gorzow, Poland.
SC Johnson is working with The CDC Foundation to deliver 80,000 “First Responder Care Packages” of cleaning and disinfectant products made by SC Johnson to police, fire, EMT and medical personnel in critical need areas.See what we're doing
SC Johnson is joining forces with Save the Children to educate children worldwide about the importance of good hygiene practices to help stop the spread of COVID-19. This new partnership focuses on measures such as handwashing and good hygiene in and outside the home that, if taught today, will help prevent transmission of the coronavirus, and help better protect future generations against disease.See what we're doing
