SC Johnson announces the recipients of its 2016 Top Supplier Awards.
SC Johnson suppliers recognized for customer service, quality, sustainability, value and innovation.

RACINE, Wis., July 1, 2016 – SC Johnson is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2016 Top Supplier Awards. The companies are being recognized for achievements in customer service, quality, sustainability, value and innovation excellence - all attributes that have contributed to SC Johnson’s success.

Winners were announced at the 2nd Annual Top Supplier Award ceremony on June 30, 2016, during an SC Johnson supplier recognition event in Chicago. The event celebrated critical suppliers that contributed to the company’s growth and underscored the company’s commitment to quality and innovation.

The 2016 Top Supplier Award recipients are:

Quality Excellence Award:  Ball Corporation

Ball Corporation is a provider of metal packaging for beverages, foods and household products, and of aerospace and other technologies and services to commercial and governmental customers. The company is being awarded for consistently high levels of experience and knowledge from a technical and business perspective.

Customer Service Excellence Award:  Sanyo Medical

Sanyo Medical is being awarded for its proven track record of creating supply chain agility through proactive manufacturing scheduling and capacity management.

Innovation Excellence Award:  Takasago

For more than 95 years, Takasago has developed flavors and fragrances for some of the world’s most successful food, beverage, fine fragrance, household and personal care products. The company was recognized for its role in helping Glade® introduce a new way to enhance fragrance noticeability and superiority.

Sustainability Excellence Award:  Logoplaste

Logoplaste received the Sustainability Excellence Award for helping SC Johnson pioneer the first 100 percent post-consumer recycled Windex® bottle, providing a win for the company, a win for consumers and a win for the environment.

Value Excellence Award:  Givaudan

The SC Johnson Value Excellence Award was earned by Givaudan as the supplier that best drove operational continuous improvement, proactively managed their supply chain to minimize costs and maximize value, and identified opportunities to improve collaborative processes.

Overall Supplier Excellence Award:  ALPLA

ALPLA was awarded the Overall Supplier Excellence Award for providing outstanding customer service, exceptional quality, differentiating value, commitment to sustainability, and superior innovation -  all of the attributes that make up a world-class company and a world-class partner.
