RACINE, Wis., (May 20, 2016) – For the 10th time, SC Johnson has been recognized as a Best Multinational Workplace by the Great Place to Work® Institute in Latin America. SC Johnson Latin America ranked 5th on the 2016 list of the top 25 places to work in Latin America. This regional recognition is a result of individual Best Workplace recognitions received for subsidiaries in Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Central America and Venezuela.

“It is a special honor to receive Best Workplace recognition for a region of the world, particularly for the tenth time,” said Fisk Johnson, SC Johnson Chairman and CEO. “I am proud of our Latin America teams’ continued hard work and success in pursuing the company’s long-standing commitment to offer great work experiences.”

SC Johnson began operating in Latin America in 1937. The company remains committed to its operations in the region and to making positive differences in the communities where it does business.

This recognition for SC Johnson Latin America is one of several recognitions SC Johnson has received this year from the Great Place to Work® Institute. SC Johnson U.K., Nigeria, Mexico, Italy, Germany, Venezuela, Central America and Poland also have earned Best Workplace rankings. Last year, SC Johnson was included in Working Mother magazine’s list of the “100 Best Companies for Working Mothers” for the 27th time, and received a perfect score of 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index.

Companies appearing on the Best Workplace list in each country are evaluated against one another by the Great Place to Work® Institute to determine the top multinational workplaces in Latin America. To be eligible for the Latin America Multinational list, a company must have operations in at least three countries, must have at least 1,000 employees globally, and 40 percent of its global workforce must work outside the home country.
